Neurology: A neurologist would be the doctor I would see. Not only do you need a compete history and physical and lab tests maybe needed. Also a test called an EMGNCV which checks nerves and muscles most likely will be needed to help figure out why the muscle spasms are occurring. That test is usually performed by a neurologist
