Accepted Answer

No: Child in distress (teething hurts) may move head to try to relieve pain, but this is voluntary.  If you can take video of our child making these movements, show to pediatrician or pediatric dentist.

Calm flight: Lexotanil is similar to Xanax but may be worth a try. Ask your doctor about Buspar (buspirone) for anxiety, short-acting. An eye mask may also help to calm and sleep. Avoid caffeine the day before until you've landed as it will keep you awake and heighten anxiety. Listen to "sleep music" or whatever soothing sounds you prefer on  youtube. Distract yourself with pleasant reading and images. Hope this helps.

Not at this time: New onset of abnormal movement (mvts) in an infant should be evaluated. Valuable info. for consultation,  altered mental status, unusual behavior shortly before &amp;/ or after noted movements, abnormal eye mvts, stiffening or loss of tone, irritability or drowsiness after mvts, delayed milestones &amp; presence of mvts during sleep. Video recording of mvts is invaluable. Take care

Tourettes?: This might be Tourettes from your description. It is a very special condition that may combine w/ some others but is always specific. There may be a variety of tics - sometimes verbalizations or sounds that may be troubling to social norms. It's really unusual to stop them on your own, but specialized therapy has been successful - often medication is employed too. Seek referral to experienced Dr.

May be heart: sometimes when the heart is beating to fast or even too slow, it can feel like the insides are shaking. If u feel heart racing or feel it in ur throat-neck, these would be indicators. Otherwise, any kind of inflammatory response in  body may also do this and the main thing that should not be overlooked is stress and any thing we take into our bodies like alcohol, medications or recreational drugs
