Blood clots form on the tumor and go to any organ in the body with resultant symptoms, e.g., stroke, blood in urine, abdominal pain etc.

Depends on site: A 12x 8 mm lesion is about 1/2 inch in size.  If in pancreas it is dangerous,  In lung it can be resected. If if muscle and malignant it can easily be removed.  The aggressiveness also depends on the histologic grading where a low grade tumor can be cured and a high grade lesion has to be treated more aggressively.
