X-rays and scans: Intestinal pain can be difficult to diagnose. X-rays and scans can help determine a cause, along with upper & lower intestinal endoscopy. There are also laboratory tests to determine gastrointestinal function. The course of investigation dpends on the type of symptoms you are having.

See your GI: As you are on Asacol (mesalamine) i suspect you have uc and these symptoms may represent a flare. For which you should see your gi.

Suggestions: I will give you some suggestions of things to try, but it sounds like you need to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and specific treatment as soon as possible. Omeprazole which is over the counter can block stomach acid and may help. Aloe vera supplements or juice can be soothing to the gastrointestinal tract. Probiotics can help restore the normal gut bacteria. Good luck and get to a doctor soon.

If you have: an inflammatory or obstructive bowel process, it can cause pain. Usually other symptoms are involved.  Since you just had a normal CT, however, this would seem unlikely.

If the lump: is present consistently all the time, it is probably not in your intestines.  If it moves around, it is not in aorta.  A painless mass is worrisome, so have your doctor take a look at it.

are there any conditions where the body digests the intestines. i have sore feelings around right groin navel and some parts of my mid/low back. mri hasn't found any thing and l feel its related to digestion?

: Your post is vague and the cited symptoms common to many conditions. The question is best asked of whatever physician you had ordering the MRI and assessing the problem. Without a full history/exam and all test results it is not reasonable to speculate on a diagnosis or treatment.

Depends: Umbilical hernias are very common.   Constant pain isn't typical of a reducible hernia, but can iccur when incarcerated, meaning it doesn't easily push back in.  An incarcerated hernia can become strangulated if the blood suppy to the herniated tissue is occluded.   If just fat still not generally an emergency, but it is if intestine.  If intestine typically other symptoms to:fever, nausea, emesis

It : It is not likely. During a colonoscopy, the scope is inserted into the rectum and into the colon, and there is much space between the colon and lumbar spine. Any complications with your back would have been felt immediately post procedure if any part of your body was traumatized. It sounds like you have a sensitive back injury of your lumbar spine, and you should see your doctor to investigate this pain, since your surgery was not too long ago.

Bland diet...: I'm not sure what you mean by intestinal area but if you have a stomach ache try switching to a bland diet and taking pep to bismol or an/or acid blocker (eg. Pepcid (famotidine) or tums). Good luck!

just had a colostomy reversal. is it normal to have soreness in my intestines?

Yes: Not unusual after getting the plumbing reworked.  Discuss with the surgeon at follow up visit.  Not normal to have severe pain, vomiting,  no stool output, bleeding after reversal; if present, call md asap.
