Days maby wks no: After birth, we rely on the intact digestive system to acquire fluids and nutrients & expell waste. Intentinal atresia prevents that. Within hours of birth this patient will need fluids and within 48hrs should have a nutrition source. It is reasonable to delay of surgery to transport the child to a site where advanced care (nicu) and surgical support are available.Further delay decreases survival.

my son, was born on the 15th of february 2020 at 33 weeks via cesarean section. he was born with congenital atresia of the small intestine and passed away on the 2nd of march 2020.  how long can i wait to start trying to fall pregnant again. kind reg?

Generally 2 mon. but: If there was a major birth defect, prospective parents should work with their doctors to check for a cause, and to monitor for birth defects in the next pregnancy. Also, this is pandemic time, April 2020. One has to find a safe time to be pregnant. In general, one should also choose a safe time to deliver a baby, usually meaning after the "flu season" if there is such a season in the local area.

dear doctor im 35 weeks pregnant my baby has minimal large bowel dilatation pamc is seen previous anamoly scans and dual marker test also normal are there any chances of anorectal atresia for my baby please help me?

: See a "MFM" (maternal fetal medicine) physician for guidance.  "Minimal dilatation" may not require early delivery, but a consult with an MFM specialist will certainly provide reassurance.

a new drug a modified version of niclosamide,that treats intestinal parasites,could be the key to reversing type 2 diab.can it be taken by a diabetic ?

Be cautious: This drug was effective in mice. Many treatments that work in mice are not effective in humans. This drug uncouples oxidative phosphorylation, the basic mechanism cells use to generate energy/ATP.  In theory, this could cause you to waste energy and lose weight.  Years ago, DNP (dinitrophenol) was used to do this and it caused weight loss but also killed people. Best follow your doc's instructions

it's almost 2 years i'm on propranolol 10 and citalopram 20. i have severe intestinal flatulence because of them(i think). is there any drug to take?

Not related....: There should be other reasons for that.......food, H Pylori, Lactose intolerance, Pancreatic insufficiency, poor combination of food

intestinal spasms frequently lately. would a ct scan w/out contrast show problems? afraid of contrast due to several drug allergies.

Oral contrast: Having the ct scan with oral contrast will increase the ability to detect bowel pathology. Oral contrast is highly unlikely to cause a reaction. 
Iv contrast is helpful, but not absolutely necessary, especially if you are concerned about IV contrast allergies.
