Tell her that if she doesn't have any memory problems, then memory testing will will be fine, and you'll stop bothering her. If your primary care or neurologist has not determined the cause &amp; you have  no history of tumor, trauma or infection that affected your brain, a neuropsychological evaluation will define the type(s) of memory loss &amp; any associated neuro-cognitive impairments &amp; recommend  therapy options &amp; mnemonic, or memory, aids.

i had a scary episode yesterday. suddenly i felt like i was having an out of body experience and i had memory loss. i had no clue what was happening ?

Memory loss: Combined with a brief out of body sensation suggests either alien abduction or focal ( temporal lobe seizure ) . Other possibilities include Migraine variant or Transient Global Amnesia.  What differentiates one from the others are the associated signs and symptoms, the time course of the event, and the EEG findings ( and I would surmise the observation of a UFO at the time of the event.)

Forget about it.....: Lol.Could not resist. Depends ho bad the memory loss is and how it is affecting you. If it is impacting your daily life and ability to function, please see your physician. You may also seek the help of an acupuncturist/chinese medicine practitioner as their skills can help balance the body. Regular exercise, decreasing junk food, adding omega three fatty acids may also  be helpful.
