Left arm pain: could very well be anxiety but has to be checked oiut from a cardiac standpt.  Women do not have the classic pains associated with angina when they are in the forties and above,  is there a family history of heart disease?  if yes, the cardiac workup is even more important.  good luck and feel better.

Get checked: Multiple possible causes of your symptoms.  May certainly be musculoskeletal, but cardiac needs to be ruled out.  A good detail history of your symptoms coulpled with an exam of the area will likely sort it out.

Many Possibilities: Although you are young, we can't forget that left arm pain can be referred from other places such as the heart, cervical spine, etc.  There certainly are many other possibilities such as referred shoulder pain, but if you haven't seen a physician i would recommend starting with your regular doctor first to narrow the possibilities.

Heart? Cuff tear?: Not much info, here, but if it just arose &/or if you have associated symptoms like shortness of breath or perspiring, seek help asap: it could signal heart attack. Could be referred pain from chest, neck, or rib, muscle strain, rotator cuff or ligament tear. Go see your osteopathic primary care doc for proper assessment.Many of these (not heart!) can be treated with manipulation or other measures.

Get evaluated: There are many causes of arm pain. First eliminate causes that could take your life, such as a heart attack. Once you eliminate the "bad stuff", you can go about a more careful diagnosis and treatment plan.  Other common causes of arm pain include pinched nerve in your neck, shoulder problems, etc.  I suggest you see your primary care provider, or go to an er depending on complaints.
