why does my intolerance to heat put such a strain on my heart? if its over maybe 75f, my heart rate can jump up to the 120s easily and stay there before going as far as 180s to 190s. physical activity does make it worse but it happens regardless?

Fever: Treatment of a fever includes fever reducer medication such as acetominophen (tylenol) or ibuprofen (motrin, advil).
Removal of excess clothing, blankets and cooling the skin with cool water or cool mist, and fanning is also effective.  Cool compresses or ice packs are helpful as well, along as staying well hydrated with cold liquids.

Many possibilities: You should get a thermometer and take your temperature when this wakens you.  If you are in fact running nocturnal fevers and chills you should be seen by a doctor and thoroughly evaluated.  Have you ever been exposed to anyone with tuberculosis?
