As with... : ...Most things on the skin,  a doctor needs to actually look at  this to see what it is.  It could be bites,  or it could be an infection of the skin (something called impetigo).  If it's getting worse and spreading,  see your doctor.

OK,...: Tough to know what this exactly without an exam.  Sounds like a progression of the healing process, and hopefully you will not acquire scars form the bites moving forward.  Try no to itch them or pick at them as that wold increase risk of infection and scarring.  See Dr. if you feel they are not improving.

Possible: Some people can get a "heat rash" that worsens when the skin is hot and usually gets better when cooled. However, to really be certain you should have this problem examined.

Antibiotics: I would get to the doctor as soon as you can for antibiotic treatment.  The injection can progress and travel leading to more severe complications.  A cold compress might help now until you can get to the doctor for evaluation and treatment.

? Impetigo: What you describe sounds suspicious for impetigo, a strep infection of your skin. You can have a tiny break in your skin that you were not even aware of, and the normal skin bacteria could then enter in and cause a local strep infection. The "scabbing" is what makes me especially suspicious. Try washing with antibacterial wash, put on antibiotic ointment, and if not better in a few days, see doc.

Watch: Watch it for signs of infection with increasing redness and swelling. Watch it for worsening skin darkening or skin ulceration, which can be a sign of a brown recluse spider bite. Do you know what bit you? Depending on where you live, lime disease or other transmitted disease could occur. Most of the time these resolve in a few days. See your doctor if you develop an illness or other concern.
