i have a hot spot to me not to touch, on my inner thigh. left side only. no redness or vein that i can see. any idea what would cause that? 32yr femal

Hot spot on thigh: May be nerve. Is there a bump? May be ganglion cyst.  Do you have DM? May be neuropathy Also .could be cyst ,early abscess,nerve compression( weight pelvic mass)  Rarely could be early zoster(shingles) but lesions should come out in 1 week, or MS(usually numbness). F/U with doc/ urgent care

Round brown spots: May be ringworm variation , / fungal infection. could try, Lotrinsone ( prescription) or over the counter fungal creams Lotrimin and see if helps . May also be eczema. Discuss with doc

Doctor can examine: Skin pain can be from one of several possible causes. A doctor&#x27;s exam is needed (primary care doctor or dermatologist). A person with shingles can have burning pain of the skin where the rash breaks out. Sometimes nerve irritation (anywhere along the nerve from the spine to the skin surface) can cause pain sensations in the lower back, thigh, or elsewhere. An in-person or video exam is helpful.

See Dermatologist: Check with your dermatologist and he/she may prescribe a  cream that bleaches the skin. Sounds like you had pigmentation  in the shaved areas.

Isotretinoin: You could do bleach bath 2 to 3 times a week-1/2 cup in full tub of water-soak for 10 minutes each time. Wash area with hibiclens soap daily. Isotretinoin might help. See your dermatologist.

Different causes: These spots (depending on what they look like) could be caused by multiple different problems. It could be a sign of dermatitis or vasculitis but most likely is just the hair follicles. I would recommend having a physician check them out.
