Great idea: That's called doing a little laundry and bathing at the same time. It works fine when the soap is mild. There's no need to wash up after washing up. Cleaning the tub and shower, while standing in the tub, and then taking a shower... does a similar thing. It's efficient because a person finishes two tasks at the same time.

i was changing a car tire and got cut by a wire sticking out. of course the tire was dirty. my last tetanus shot was either 2014 or 2015. ive washed the wound multiple times with soap and water, used alcohol wipes and hydrogen peroxide. am i okay?

: Am totally unaware of any tetanus case caused by dirty tires.  However, a  bacterial  infection risk would be a distinct potential.  If you develop swelling, reddening, pustulence, or progressive limb inflammation, this  could represent cellulitis, with  need for antibiotics.

my dad shaved my dirty dog with my personal clippers. i didnt know but when i came home i cleaned them with soap, water, bleach and even alcohol before use. i ended up cutting myself while shaving. do i need new tetanus shot? my tdap is 4 years old.

TDap vaccine: TDap vaccine has to be reinforced every 10 years, so you should be ok.

: The mantra "don't put anything in your ears but your elbow" is correct. Leave it alone. Whatever you can tease out near the entrance with a wet ear bud is all you should do. If the doc needs to clear something away, they have the proper tools and can do it under direct vision.

: Probably, yes. Coronaviruses are very fragile, and vigorous washing or rinsing with water alone probably is very protective. Alternatively if no soap is available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

Oil versus Water: Soaps in general are partially oily and partially water soluble.  The soap surrounds a dirt particle, oily part pointing in and water soluble part pointing out as a smplistic answer.  But it is hard to keep the combination completely disolved in the water and so some of it clings to the sides of the sink; if i remember my biochemistry classes at all!
