Hsv1: Sorry to tell you, but hsv1 never leaves the system. But can be treated with antiviral when flares occur.

2 mo. post op pilonidal cyst. wound has not fully healed. there is yellow fluid inside wound, redness around site, and burning pain. infection? rash?

Possibly: Only a visual inspection with cultures will reveal the true nature of what's going on but my money would be on an infectious entity with what you're saying.  Get an appointment back with the doctor who did the surgery and see how he/she wants to approach things.

Potential polyuria: Increased frequency of urination especially at night in a young female is not normal.  You should see your primary care doc for evaluation.  You should keep a record of times and approximate quantities for your doc to review.

Burning Sinus: Some viruses and early "colds" attack the lining of the sinuses and cause that annoying burning sensation. I use sterile saline nose spray to "wash out" the sinuses and then one or two gentle sprays of afrin (oxymetazoline) nose spray to relieve congestion. Sometimes it takes days to develop the full blown cold syndrome.

Hard to speculate: The existence of an infection would be verified by sending a sample of a properly obtained urine specimen for analysis &amp; culture. Since no information about your gender or history is provided there is little way to decide this is a UTI or a sexually transmitted disease, treatment of which is very different. Burn infection: Burns can become infected, just as any other wound can become infected.  Contact with dogs' mouths can lead to pasteurella infection.  Most open wound infections are caused by more than one type of bacteria, though.  If you think yours is infected, please see a doctor.

Retesting: for type of infection and checking all possible triggers for recurrence. Such as hormone abnormalities, reinfection from sexual partner, pre diabetes. Possibly staying on appropriate medication for a few weeks, as an option to prevent rapid recurrence.
