Need to examine: If you did not hurt it and it appeared on its own, it would be prudent to have a doctor examine it in case, by remote chance, it is a melanoma.

Infected in grown: toe nail. Need to see your Doctor or a Podiatriast for the nail removal and drainage of pus.with or without antibiotics

Yes: The area around the bottom and upper legs is a common additional site of hfm, it just didn't make it to the label when the pattern was being named. If that's the only site and there are no blisters it could be something else. Te variability of hfm is quite diverse, with some having only one area involved.

Depends on situation: If you had the viruses before that cause the disorder you will be immune. If you are susceptible but are cautious & have no contact with the saliva of the person you are at low risk. It occurs most often in kids under 5 but we see occasional strains affect adults. I would not consider it much of a threat to any adult who is not immune compromised by chronic illness or chemo.

Supportive care..: There are no medicines that will shorten the duration of this disease (caused by a virus). Make sure that she does not get dehydrated during this time. Pain relief with Ibuprofen can help. I hope she feels better soon.

Observe : since you have had your child examined and they did not find any cause for alarm it would be worthwhile observing him for another day. If the Finger becomes more red, swollen and  painful with more red streaks then have him taken to the doctor again so that local antibiotics or oral antibiotics are started. If the child is already having fever or appears ill you should take him now.
