i have been really sick for almost three years.how can i tell if it is a fungal infectionthat has spread literally all over my body. included also now into my eyes?have white hairs that started popping up on forehead aft. infected yellowish scalp etc?

: This is unlikely but something you can find out by listing all your issues with a timeline &amp; taking that list in for an evaluation. If fungus gets in your blood you are likely dead within days. On the body surface it would have physical findings. Yeast is normal in your gut. You may have a chronic illness but the what &amp; why requires an evaluation &amp; likely testing.

i had a scab on my scalp in the front of my head and the scab fell off a few weeks ago the skin under the scab is white and has been for a few weeks now it doesnt look infected the skin is just white. what should i do?

: Be patient. From the limited information in the post it sounds like a simple issue of delayed pigment return.  Pigmentation is one of the last things to come back to newly healed skin. It can take weeks depending on your natural tone.

i got some lidocaine shots done. they put them in my scalp. i noticed one of the sites has a white head looking thing with some redness around. this was done 6 days ago. how should i clean it ? does it sound infected ?

: There could be infection in view of the redness. Hot ( not too hot) water compresses for 10-15 minutes a few times a day helps bring any pus to a head. Apply rubbing alcohol to the surrounding area to kill staph bacteria. See an MD if increasing redness or pain develop. You could apply antibacterial ointment to the pimple.

constant lightheadedness, tingling in scalp, neck pain for 5 weeks. does not go away. normal labs. normal ekg. waiting on cardiologist referral. doctor will not order imaging of head. could this be caused by an infected tooth? other suggestions?

: Those symptoms are not  what we recognize or associate with dental infections. Stay on it with the docotor until you discover what's really going on.

Few options: Topical antibiotics may be of help with infected hair follicles (folliculitis).  If there is an ingrown hair problem, try not tweezing or pulling the hairs out and don't shave too close to the skin.  Also, avoid pressure or traumatizing the area of concern.  Laser hair removal is also very effective in that it eliminates the hair follicle and prevents the inflammation.
