: I would not delay it at all. The kids are just as pissed and recover as fast with one shot or 5. Delaying this or any vaccine to follow the suggestions of celebrities makes no scientific sense and keeps kids at risk. You have no idea what risky encounters will occur in a kids life. You plan for the worst &amp; hope for the best.

Runner-stroller: Manny big stores carry the so-called runner-stroller (big wheels) designed for faster speed, thus you can use to push your infant along while running/exercising. Just make sure you find a path that is relatively smooth. You can also do treadmill, stationary bike, infront-of-tv activities at home while baby is asleep. If there is a will, there is a way--and u have the will. Consult doc. Good luck.

Not recommended: Many children eat bits of dirt now and again. It is not recommended and most suffer no harm.  There are some gems in dirt which can cause diarrheal illnesses and possibly some toxins in dirt. If your child eats a lot of dirt or eats it frequently, contact your doctor. Otherwise, wash his/her hands and distract him/her with another activity.

Usually observation: Depending on the age, observation and symptomatic treatment is all that is needed.  Suctioning of the nose to keep the nostrils open is key.  If the air is dry, a cool mist humidifier may be of benefit.  Observe for fever or other signs of infection and make sure the babe is warm, clean and dry and loved a lot.  If concerned, see your pcp.  Otc meds should only be used with advice of pcp.

Your food: 9 month-olds can eat what you eat with a few exceptions.  No honey.  The only milk they should drink is breast milk or baby formula.  Their food needs to be mashed to avoid choking.  Try to avoid low-calorie and low-fat foods, because they need calories to grow.
