Preschool: Usually it begins in toddlers and becomes more obvious in pre-schoolers.

CPR: Yes, it is different from adults. You use fingers for infants  and hands for adults.

Month vs wk or so: A circumcision done around the time of birth is usually well healed by the 2 wk visit &amp; usually requires only local anesthesia. In a toddler they usually require a general anesthesia, a different method and 4 to 6 weeks for healing.

Why Discolored?: Are there systemic problems or diseases, poor enamel, decay?  Pain?  For social reasons the teeth can be covered.  You should rule out systemic disease.  And, you don't want permanent tooth discoloration.  Did your baby have a high fever, receive certain antibiotics, high fluoride? The baby teeth will be lost, but you don't want the permanent teeth to be discolored so see a dentist!

Reflux: Yes, it certainly sounds like he still has reflux. I would check with a pediatric gastroenterologist for further workup.

Rough: Well surgery on a small child is technically challenging to the surgeon. It would ordinarily take several hours and the recovery several weeks or even months. That said, children and infants have a great ability to recuperate even from major surgery.

Yes,at proper doses: This med has been around for at lease 5 decades that I know of and is well tolerated by infants. The proper dos for size is well studied and on most produces.Like any good medicine, it is strong enough to do good, but used wrong, can do harm.

i read online there are lots of side effect for lamisil. is there any safe alternative cream to treat infant/toddler's athlete foot?

Safe ???: Lamisil is safe and effective when used appropriately &amp; was deemed so by the food &amp; drug administration back when it was only available by prescription. After years of use, its track record allowed it to be released to the general public. Any med that is strong enough to help will have side effects in some people. I find it a safe med. Lotramin is another antifungal that is usually effective.

my toddler grand daughter cut her forehead small cut . should we be concerned about her developing anemia? and does it happen quickly?  she was anemic as an infant. we just worry.

No: A small cut would NEVER cause anemia. Infants often become anemic around 6-9 mo when their rapid growth outpaces their ability to make new blood to fill the tissue. Growth slows some after a year &amp; diet lets them catch up.I would not lose sleep over it. Peds often check for anemia around 9 mo since it is common&amp; has few symptoms. Thereafter we  rarely get blood work unless symptoms call for it.

i have a fetish of playing with infant/toddler diapers. can i get std if i touched the urine from the diaper and fingered myself? (hpv, trichomonas, gonorrhea, etc...)

No risk, no worry: For obvious reasons, STDs are extremely rare in infants or toddlers. And even if an STD were present, there would be little or no risj from such contact. Don't worry about it.
