Many things possible: That said, "medium flow" vaginal bleeding and "healthy pregnancy" usually don't go together. One can contact her Ob-Gyn doctor to describe her bleeding and see if any evaluation should be done. The doctor might repeat a pregnancy test to make sure it is still positive, especially if this is very early in the pregnancy, or if not yet a proven pregnancy.

Normal: Blood flow to the placenta is obviously what's keeping your growing baby alive.  I've never heard of "increased blood flow" to the placenta.  The only danger in pregnancy is when there is decreased blood flow to the placenta.  That can happen when moms have problems with blood pressure or have disease like lupus.  I wouldn't be worried for a minute that you have increased blood flow.

Unless this is accompanied by other issues it is doubtful that this has negative connotations, but the best person to discuss this with would be the obstetrician who did or ordered the ultrasound.
