can you have implantation bleeding 10 days before period?

Not likely: Wait. A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that prior spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period.

Possible: Wait another week and check first AM urine with home pregnancy test. It could also be dysfunctional uterine bleeding which is common with hormonal shifts even with stress. Trying to conceive can be stressful which works against you. Easier said than done, but try to relax. Many couples conceive after adoption because the pressure is off. Follow up with your fertility specialist, too. Take care.

wait and if you miss your period, do an in home pregnancy test.If you get your period that means it was not due to implantation and if it recurs get your self checked by your gynecologist.

Check pregnancy test: Could be a false negative pregnancy test.  If your period doesn't come soon, retest.

Could be: Implantation bleeding is highly variable, but it should occur around 6-7 days after ovulation/conception - or about 7 days before the next period. Most women will not experience  implantation bleeding at all.

Break through bleed: Pregnancy, stress, medication side effects, low body weight, high levels of exercise.Hormonal disturbances such as thyroid disorder, pituitary disorders..., peri menopause or menopause, ovarian cysts, medical conditions........There are too many potential factors.  See a gynecologist for an examination and better diagnosis, .

Pregnant?: Implantation bleeding can be very light, and pregnancy is possible with the symptoms you have related. Get an HCG serum test for pregnancy in about 10 days if your period has not started to be certain. If the level is positive, but low, see your healthcare provider to make sure a pregnancy is not in the tube (outside the womb).

No: Implantation bleeding rarely happens, when it does it would be about 1 week before a period, and would be light for no more than a day.

HPT: This may just be a bit of bleeding starting early for your period.  However, if you have been sexually active - you can take home  pregnancy test.
