Will fluctuate: Your prolactin level will fluctuate a little from day to day and even from different times of the day.  If your blood was drawn every day for a week, there's a good chance you'd get a slightly different result every time.  Not to worry...Going from 33 to 35 is hardly any change at all and you seem to be responding well to the medicine.

Sorry : Sorry to answer your question with more questions but: did you have your prolactin level tested and what was it? If it was elevated and causing suppression of ovulation, yes, you will likely begin to ovulate after discontinuation of the medication but it may take a few weeks.

prolactin: Elevated prolactin levels are commonly seen in association with a pituitary tumor (adenoma).  You need to be evaluated and see a neurologist or neurosurgeon.  Need an MRI of your brain.

my breasts have increased from a uk size 32 j cup to a 32 k cup since october. high prolactin levels. not pregnant. i've not gained weight although i'm constantly extremely hungry for unknown reason, so am eating a lot. will they keep getting bigger?

: You need to monitor the prolactin level as you might have a Prolactinoma  - and hence you might need medication to help - but you do need a MRI of the brain to check this gland

: There are reasons for high HCG other than viable pregnancy  like miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, pituitary HCG production, trophoblastic disease- cancer or non cancer, phantom HCG so you need to see your Ob/Gyn. Hope it helps.

Prolactin: Can be elevated in certain pituitary tumors, hypothyroidism, breast stimulation, and in response to many psychiatric medications. Check w/your doctor to see if testing and / or medication is necessary.

Prolactin is a: Hormone produced by the pituitary gland. After pregnancy it causes lactation (milk production). Besides pregnancy it can be elevated from stress, exercise, nipple stimulation, medications (especially antipsychotics), or tumors/growths in the pituitary gland.

Nipple stimulation: Nipple stimulation is fun , inexpensive and easy.  And it is a lot better than becoming pregnant or developing a pituitary tumor.  Why would anyone want to raise their prolactin level above "normal?".
