Continue feeds: Continue feedings as usual, his weight may be compared to his birthweight and his growth chart may be reviewed at the next visit. Avoid excessive spit ups and over feeding to the point of  frequent spit ups and slow the feeds down by increasing the length of feeding, if this occurs. Frequent stools may indicate a viral intestinal infection. Avoid dehydration, watch for signs of blood or mucus.
