: The lower left side of the abdomen contains Large intestine and Colon. Swelling and pain could be caused by constipation, Irritable bowel disease, gastroenteritis (infection) or Diverticulitis. Most symptoms in this area are short lived and will go away in a few days. If the pain persists, please contact your DR or a full exam.

Yes but is atypical : Costochondritis or inflammation of the cartilage around the rib cage and sternum may cause swelling.  I would expect the site of inflammation to be painful and swollen (point tenderness and swelling).  This diagnosis may also cause back and abdominal pain, also known as referred pain.  However, true abdominal pain should also be observed for worsening as it can be from other causes.

Need doctor to check: Lower right abdominal pain can be from many things. For pain there, appendicitis is always a concern (pain can worsens over time, with fever coming on). If one had been constipated prior to the diarrhea, stool could have backed up the right side, and caused pain. Having gas may or may not be related to the discomfort (lactose intolerance will cause gas). A hernia or ovarian problem can cause pain.

RUQ PAIN: HI, you have some symptoms that do not connect very well. The ruq pain could be gallstones or an ulcer, also a problem with the liver is also a considetation, you will need blood work and an US of the ruq.
The headache and neck spasm does not fit, omeprazole can cause headaches.

Possible Hernia: A hernia is when the muscle in the abdomen splits and allows the tissue underneath to poke through. This sometimes creates a bump on your abdomen, but not always.  Hernias can be repaired with routine surgery. You need to have this evaluated by your doctor as untreated hernias can become strangulated and cause severe problems.
