Best advice is to see a specialist in high risk pregnancy that can explain to you all the associated risks and also if is indicated to get pregnant in your particular case. i am a 30 year old, on dialysis and am i currently pregnant at 21 weeks. i had to do a blood test to check the possibility of my baby having downsyndrome and the test results came back intermediate. should i worry.

Worry a little: In general, a woman can ask her doctor to describe any additional tests that are available or needed to better tell if the baby fetus has a major mutation, and to discuss what "intermediate risk" numbers mean. For example, if there is a 1/300 chance of DS, that means 299 out of 300 babies are expected to NOT have Down Syndrome.

TRANSPLANT CRITERIA: TRANSPLANT CRITERIA HSV2 is not a contraindication to transplant . If she gets it she will likely need long term prophylactic therapy with famvir or valtrex (valacyclovir). You also should be screened to check your HSV2&amp;1 status
