Both of these conditions are easily checked via blood tests. Bottom line: go see your family doc & tell him/her about your concerns. S/he knows you best & can make diagnosis & offer appropriate treatment 4u.

Cold tips: Tips: sore throat – gargle with warm salt water (1/2 tsp salt in 8 oz of water). Get strep test/culture if very sore. Congestion – saline nose drops or netti pot. For anti-inflammatory effect & mobilizing mucus- homemade chicken noodle soup.  Hydrate- lots of water/clear broth/ add honey & a small amt. Of lemon juice to chamomile tea..  Fever/ pain – Acetaminophen / nsaid’s  rest!

No- check thyroid: It is not normal to feel cold all the time when pregnant. Many women develop hypothyroidism during pregnancy. Being cold is a common symptom of low thyroid. Hypothyroidism can affect your baby's development & increase the chance of miscarriage, so please ask your doctor to check your thyroid asap. Many doctors only check tsh; ask have your free T3 (liothyronine) & T4 and anti-thyroid antibodies tested as well!

Needs more info: without an exam, I can only give general information, in general hot and cold would be signs of an infection. Overall infection signs (upper resp sniffles, with nausea and/or diarrhea) basically means a (minor) cold virus without a lot to do w. it other than rest, fluids, maybe tylenol (acetaminophen) maybe gingerale or pepto.

Warm back: Glomera, this could be due to adequate covering by good clothing or sitting well placed in a chair. If you are  a low back pain sufferer it could be due to low grade, chronic inflammation of the back muscles. However, if unaccompanied by urinary symptoms, no fever and no severe pain, I would not be concerned. thanks
