41wks pregnant, was due 4/18/14. conception calc says conceived 7/26-7/28. but, any chance i actually conceived in early to mid june instead?

Possible, However..: I suppose it's possible you conceived earlier than is being calculated, but i would also go by what your ultrasounds are saying as well. The size of the baby helps us date a pregnancy and figure out approximately how far along a pregnancy is and the due date, but sometimes this can be off a little bit. I am a bit doubtful that your scan would show a baby 41 weeks big if conceived a month earlier.

if i was 8 wks pregnant on ultrasound 12/18/14 when did i conceive ?  & was it accurate? cause i'm getting 10/19/14 conceiving date for 8wks

Understanding data: The difference between precise and accurate here. When I measure a length with a ruler I am always making an approximation. Was it 8 " or was it really 8 1/4" or was it really 8 3./16 or maybe 8 11/64" and so forth each time getting closer to the "true" length.  Similarly with the measurements made by the ultrasonographer he is trying to estimate the fetus' true gestatioal age.

See answer : Given your due date is based off your lmp, you conceived about two weeks after your lmp and hence you conceived about 29weeks and 3 days ago.

20 weeks 1 day ago: The standard way of counting pregnancy weeks is from the beginning of the last menstrual period, and presumes a 28-day menstrual cycle. That means the pregnancy weeks officially start 2 weeks before ovulation and conception. Thus a person who is 22 weeks pregnant is presumed to have conceived 20 weeks ago. In natural pregnancies, all dates are estimates, plus or minus one week.

Why check temp?: All of those readings represent normal temperatures. I suppose the more important question is why are you checking your temperature? If you feel you have an infection or fever then see your doctor to help narrow down the cause

Vasoprine: Vasoprine is a combination of Aspirin and isosorbide. It is not used to treat swelling. You should ask you doctor before starting any medication during pregnancy.

Sex on fertile days: With a 28-day cycle, ovulation happens around day 14.  That is day 14 counting from the beginning of a period (the first day of bleeding is day 1).  That is also known as 14 days after lmp, which means last menstrual period. If wanting a baby, start having sex twice a day on day 11, for a full 6 days... And enjoy those days, without thinking about pregnancy, babies or anything related to cycles.

Controversial topic: Premature cervical changes(dilatation,shortening, funneling,softening...) are difficult to measure and to interpret.Sonographic or clinical exams of your cervix are very variable, very subjective, not accurate nor reliable predictors of premature labor or preterm delivery. Consult a knowledgeable MFM doctor regarding accepted criteria for "cervical insufficiency". Your risks at 22wks.seem small.
