See an orthopedist: There are several types of lesions that can be included in the differential diagnosis, but generally if the radiologist thinks it is a hemangioma they are correct. Defining this further will depend upon its clinical relevance, risks and cost of procedures (more imaging v. Surgery). Lnfections and lymphangiomatoses may be included in the differential diagnosis.

Hard to say: The iliac bone is part of the pelvis and so if the lesion is painful, it would be expected to cause pelvic pain.  If it is really large, it could potentially cause abdominal pain or sometimes there might be other lesions in other areas.  A lot really hinges around the diagnosis of the lesion itself.  Appropriate studies, including a ct and bone scan can go a long way to establish the diagnosis.

Unlikely but it depe: Every bone shadow is not a cancer. Only by reviewing x-rays/scans and you symptoms can one arrive at a likely diagnosis. Since I do not have the benefit of having more info i can not be sure. But remain calm and optimistic till you have seen your specialist next tuesday. If suspicious, he/she may recommend a biopsy...But it can also be a benign bone island which does not require further action.

catscan for microhematuria revealed a focus of sclerosis in left superior sacrum representing a bone island or chondroid lesion and 2nd smaller sclerotic focus in mid left iliac bone presumably of similar etiology. is this of any concern?

Ortho oncology: Multiple lesions are concerning. You should see an Orthopaedic oncologist for the proper work up which may involve a biopsy. I would not take any chances.

ct abdomen and pelvis noted 12x9mm sclerotic lesion related to the right iliac bone with a sharp zone of transition. i am having right hip pain and right low back pain with palpable cysts in the right low back. should i be concerned?

: A small sclerotic bone lesion with sharp zone of transition is likely a benign lesion. This is just a coincidental finding with CT, likely not related to your current issues. Take care and good luck.

doctors have recently said that they found my thyroid to be enlarged with nodules and also found a couple lesions on my ribs and iliac bone. im due to get a biopsy but im freaking out and would like some more input?

: I would prepare myself and my family for bad news and have supportive family with you when you go to the consultation. The possible label that brings these separate findings together is a thyroid cancer that is stage 4.  The specifics on whether this is the true finding and the management available are all an individual process best managed by those who know your case.
