Nice trick!: You are not unique--many children and adults alike can relax their lower esophageal sphincter on demand.  This is seen in ruminators (people who regurgitate, rechew, then reswallow their food), in some eating disorder patients, and in sword swallowers.  But repeated exposure of acid stomach contents to your esophagus, throat, teeth, and mouth can cause significant injury (short and long term).

Mechanical trauma: It is likely that you might have caused some local mechanical irritation, not likely that you caused a perforation. If you have no symptoms it is still worth discussing it with your doc as impulse disorders from the eating spectrum may be consistent with your behavior.

First thought: The issue is disquieting but likely bothers you more than the kid. Some adapt such behaviors when they find it gets you to stop what you are doing and go to them. It is not adult like manipulation it is just their crude way of drawing attention. Try monitoring the issue out of your side vision, without looking at them directly. Even when checking for safety don't make eye contact. This may end it.

Common finding: Kids often stick their fingers in their mouth and may explore further. They can trigger a gag during the process or carry germs off their contaminated fingers to sensitive oral tissue and cause infection. If the experience was unpleasant enough, she will likely avoid it.

Dysphagia: You have dysphagia which can have many different causes. You should consult with your PCP. A barium swallow, laryngoscopy and upper GI endoscopy might be recommended. A neck CT scan also might be helpful. Your symptoms are not normal, so you should not ignore them.

: Best recommendation is not to touch your hyoid bone from the inside OR the outside.  Try a warm compress ( a warm wet washcloth in a plastic bag will do ) and practice swallowing a teaspoon of soup or juice or milk at a time.  Your own musculature should settle the hyoid where it should be if allowed to rest.  Make sure you drink enough fluid that your urine is light yellow in color

Rest: Lie down and try to nap, or sip a little tea.  You may not actually vomit and the sensation pass.
