This : This is a great question.  Sometimes patients reach a an unorthodox solution to a difficult problem, and as you are experiencing, the dedicated doctor who help you leaves.

The first thing you could suggest is for your current psychiatrist to speak with your former psychiatrist.  Perhaps they can come to a mutual understanding about continuing the medications that have helped you.

If that doesn't work, you should contact either the american psychiatric association or the utah psychiatric society for a list of psychopharmacologists in your area.  If there is no one close by, it could be worthwhile for you to travel to a university for a specialized consultation in coordination with a local psychiatrist.  The university of arizona and ucla both have great psychiatry departments.  In addition, steven stahl, a pre-eminent psychopharmacologist, is based in california and might be a good person to go to for a consultation.

: You just have to take a double dose of the OTC proton pump inhibitor drugs such as Prilosec (20 mg x 2) or Prevacid (15 mg x 2) if you can afford them.

: Although not without some risk, low dose bcp's (combined type) have lower estrogen/progestin levels than generated at peri-menopausal times.  Ask for a referral to a board certified OBGYN physician for guidance.

Need correction: You need to contact the physician to correct the pharmacy error. The pharmacist must give you the exact medication your doctor prescribed. If there is an error then you bcorrect it. Two 50 mg tablets of Clomid (clomiphene) equals one 100 mg tablet. I am wondering if they gave you twice the number of pills expecting you to simply take two of the 50 mg tablets. Clarify with md before making up your own way.

Nausea alternatives.: Diclegis is a new medication for nausea in pregnancy. Zofran (ondansetron) is also used, but can be pretty expensive. You want to avoid getting dehydrated, so try and drink lots of fluid, especially water. Try to get more protein in too, as it will hold you longer.

If you are using the term paranoid literally, then it may be helpful to know that feelings of paranoia can be a side effect of Codeine use.
