: Get the opinion of a doc who knows you and your level of control before you try anything like this. An asthma event under water could easily end in death. If you never have break through events &amp; are so well controlled you seldom think of asthma as a thing. it might be okay.

I suppose so : Cannot see why that should stop you from scuba diving
it could well lead to ankle arthritis in the future.

Yes you can: Give some time , adhesions will form between visceral and partial  pleura and prevent collapsing , then you can fly , as you no longer have bullae  to rupture  Speak to your doctor.,.

It depends: There are a number of dive computers or calculators to determine when it is safe to fly. This depends on the amount of diving you have done and the degree of nitrogen staturation. The dive master can help with this.

Yes: If they are recovered and after close consultation with the treating physician. If they are on oxygen or have significant respiratory symptoms, scuba diving might not be advisable.

Follow dive tables: Always dive with a buddy. Ensure that your equipment is in good working order before diving. Check your tank for air. Having been a navy diver ; having dove with some really wild guys - this is my big recommendation:  don't screw around with marine wildlife.

Proper ascending?: If you don't have any problem during/after your dive, you can fly right afterward. If you have rapid ascending which can cause eardrum to burst, rapid expansion of belly gas, and more importantly the lungs, and even bubbling of your blood which cause "air-embolism" which is dangerous. So, if you properly ascend and have no symptoms, you can fly--inside cabin is pressurzied anyway. Good luck.

Accepted Answer

Low: Vertigo from flying is very rare, vertigo from scuba diving is not as rare (but still rare). It is more likely that pressure change from being under water can lead to rupture of the inner ear causing something called a perilymph leak. When fluid from the inner ear leaks into the middle ear patients get severe vertigo, hearing loss and tinnitus. This is a true ear emergency.
