Fertility ?: If the "injections" were "Depo-progesterone", the effects from these are now ended.  If your periods are regular, and ovulation is detected (via an "ovulation kit") ask your gyn about a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) , which is a simple x-ray after instillation of sterile fluid into the tubes to detect blockage, a very common cause of infertility.  Your partner should also be checked for viable  sperm.

Just try: Although I am sorry to hear that you had a miscarriage the good news is that you were able to get pregnant at age 39.  If you still desire pregnancy then you should just start trying again.

Can subtract 2 weeks: If at 21-weeks, subtract 2 weeks from the number of "weeks pregnant" and the answer reveals the estimated conception date. That is because the standard way of counting pregnancy weeks sets 0-weeks as the first day of the last menstrual period. That means 2-weeks is usually ovulation and conception. So, 6-weeks pregnant equals 4 weeks after conception. Using a calendar and counting backwards helps.

Yes: That is very common. Many man and women feel sad, or embarrassed or even ashamed. There is no reason to be. >15% or all couples have infertility. And both the man and woman play a role. To be honest, unexplained infertility usually is a result of lack of fertilization, poor egg quality, or even abnormal egg genetics and is much less commonly related to the sperm. See a fertility specialist!

Yes: I imagine you're aware that semen is a bit thick and gloopy or sticky.  Its that way so some of it will stay in the vagina long enough to allow sperm to move into your vaginal secretions.  While female superior may not be the ideal position with men with low sperm counts, it won't prevent pregnancy for most.  Consider lying on your back with legs drawn up for 20 min after ejaculation.
