for over a month my palor has changed. i'm naturally pale but now constantly flushed. doc said if it persists could be a problem. what could this be?

Billiary disease: A large dose of diarrhea medications containing bismuth subslicylate, such as kaopectate (kaolin and pectin) or pepto-bismol, may cause stools to temporarily turn white. Stool may also turn white after swallowing barium sulfate before receiving a barium enema test. Anything that prevents the bile to reach the intestines may cause it ( narrowing, stricture, tumor, or billiary cirrhosis.

my son's poos are really really pale,  almost white.   is this a problem?

Possibly: It may be normal but it's also possible that there could be a health problem causing it. I would suggest having him checked by his doctor; bring some of his soiled diapers in with you to show his doctor as well.

i had 3 reasonably lg pale colored bm's in 30 min after being constipated for a couple of weeks.  is this a problem?

Not likely a problem: However a couple of weeks of constipation is not normal. You need to see someone and discuss your diet and fluid intake honestly to determine if that is the cause. If not, you need to a a diagnostic work up.

sentimental: It concerns me that you are feeling melancoly or depressed.  It is important to have a trusted doctor or psychologist that you can discuss these feelings with.  A doctor can check you to be sure it is not something physical e.g. Thyroid or hormone problem.  Do get good help and keep asking good questions.

Don't see connection: Don't know what type of eating problems you are experiencing -so can't comment on that. Here are sleep hygiene tips:  retire & rise same time each day. Keep bedroom dark & cool & use only for sex & sleep. Turn off tv. No naps. Exercise regularly but not in late evening. No caffeine for 6 hrs & no alcohol or tobacco w/i 2 hrs of sleep. Keep dinner mod sized & finish at least 2 to 3 hrs before  bed.

Maybe: If you press and release and can say "capillary refill" (or count to 3 mississippi-s) prior to the color returning to the spot, then you likely have delayed peripheral perfusion--which might be normal for you at your age--need to discuss your concerns with your dr or a cardiologist, particularly if family history of heart or vascular disease.

Maybe nothing: The menstrual periods sound normal.  The appearance of pale and tired a bit are subjective observations.  If you want the woman assessed, see a primary care doctor and have her thoroughly evaluated.

Weather?: This time of the year, the wind and cold have a tendency to really take its toll on the lips. When we lick our lips and go out into the cold weather, the wind and temperature have a drying and chapping effect on the lips. It is best to wear lip balm, if it has a uv blocking agent in it that's even better, since the bright sunlight can create a sunburn on those sunny winter days.
