The wrist.: Blood flow in arteries is away from the heart.  The subclavian artery goes into the arm and is past where the vessels to the neck are located.  If it is cut then flow to the forearm and wrist may be less.

See vascular surgeon: If your arm is dark purple it is cyanotic.  It is depleted of oxygen and should have a prompt evaluation.  I would think it is already serious.

MRA: This is a complex case and must be followed by a neurosurgeon with routine MRI and mra stdues. This is a subspecialty issue and quite complex. Get a neurosurgical consultation.

i had a neck ct done for chronic sore throat. being treated for lpr. the ct showed aberrant origin of the right subclavian artery. is this something that needs surgery if its not causing any symptoms? or can it be left alone?

: Leave it alone. You are one of many with a physical abnormality of blood vessel development that has had no effect on your life to date and should not in the future. It would have no relationship to the throat issue.

ANS: Never heard of a diverticulum in an aberrant subclavian artery. Perhaps you mean a diverticulum caused by the artery. Please clarify. Just an aberrant SC artery could cause pain as could an aneurysm. More details please.

Lymph node??: Ask your doc to feel it and give you his opinion as to its nature.
