Ibuprofen IB: Per the company "motrin® ib tablets are no longer available for purchase."  Ibuprofen is still available for purchase.

Should be OK: However to still require an analgesic 10 days or more post surgery would suggest that you contact your Oral Surgeon.  A reexamination may be in order.

It : It takes about 6 weeks for the nasal bones to reset (where they're no longer mobile). The swelling and bruising usually resolves sooner than that, though. Bruising normally resoves after about 2 weeks.

If the nasal bones are now misalligned, you would want to have the fracture reset so that the bones heal in the proper allignment. Ideally, this should be done within 10 days of the injury.

Plantar fascitiis : Is what it sounds like. Night splints are very helpful when sleeping. Achilles' tendon stretching and otc arch supports. If these fail visit the podiatrist.

i've had flu symptoms and swollen throat and i was prescribed bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) and ib profen its been two weeks and no progress what does this mean?

Re-evaluate: Someone who does not improve after two weeks of treatment needs to be re-evaluated by one's physician in case one has developed complications such as pneumonia, or in case the initial treatment or diagnosis missed the mark.

See below : Ibuprofen and naproxen: both Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Though in the same class with similar benefits, risks, and potential side effects, some pts find that one drug works better or is better tolerated than the other. Naproxen: longer elimination half-life (17 hrs) vs ibuprofen (2-4 hrs): Would generally be safe to take ibuprofen 12- 24 hrs after your last naproxen dose.

No: No they are not. One is a muscle relaxant and one is an anti-inflammatory med.
