This neds a work up.: What you have could be a primary shoulder problem, or a neck condition. It could even be a nerve problem related to nerves called the "brachial plexus, " and all of thos posibilites need testing.

Epicondylitis: You may have a condition called medial epicondylitis also known as golfers elbow. This is similar to tennis elbow but occurs on the inside if the elbow. It usually is painful with movement and can sometimes be painful with wrist motion. Contrary to its name it often has nothing to do with golf. If it's associated with numbness and tingling you may also have irritation of the ulnar nerve.

Left  Arm maybe more: Left arm pain could have more serious implications depending on the timing severity, patientcage and risk factors for heart disease. 
Evaluation and treatment by your primary care provider is defintely warranted .

hello recently i have been experiencing left chest pain when i'm breathing in after eating usually and when i'm laying down sometimes a bit of left arm pain but it just feels a bit sore could be from on it when i move my chest to the left it hurts?

: Your symptoms are more characteristic of a musculoskeletal cause in the rib cage or pinched intercostal nerve that runs between 2 ribs. Other causes such as heart,lung or esophageal causes are quite unlikely. Could you have strained or injured your rib cage recently? Any tender spots? If symptoms don't resolve see your physician for evaluation and any appropriate testing.

i slept on the couch and woke up with left arm pain. i have pain and difficulty in lifting my arm over my head, taking it behind my back and moving my forearm outward. what should i do?

Sat night palsy: That's due to a temporary nerve injury (aka saturday night palsy) from sleeping in an awkward position (usually with your arm raised and compressed under your head. It will resolve in several hours. If not, it may be a spinal or joint problem which needs to be looked at by your doctor.

Checkup: many causes of chest and arm pain but the fact that it woke you up is concerning. Best to get checked to rule out cardiac or GI cause, or pulmonary issue. Err on the side of caution with those symptoms.

Odd description: This is an odd description of loss of shoulder motion, but your doctor is probably correct if you're losing motion without an injury causing it.  Therapy for now would be the most appropriate next step.

Pinched nerve: A pinched nerve can cause neck pain headaches, and pain or numbness running into the arm.  There are other potential causes, however, and so it would be good to just get a regular check up to make sure it is nothing else.  An MRI can confirm the diagnosis.  Therapy, chiropractic, and interventional pain management are the non operative treatments for it if it doesn't get better.  Thank you.

i been having left arm pain in the middle of the upper arm that comes and go for weeks. sometimes it hurts for an hour. i had 3 ekgs all fine. what is?

Look into neck: If the EKG X3 are negative, look into the possibility that the pain is referred from the neck.
