started clomid on the 10th of feb till the 14th of feb not sure if i ovulated as i did not test i took a pregnancy test on the 6th of march it was positive could this mean im pregnant or its a false positive i have pcos and irregular periods ?

Tests are accurate: Today's home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by PCOS, but if done too early, a negative result may be due to testing too soon. A correctly done urine test will give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period.

Clomid (clomiphene): Why would u want to do laparoscopy for pcos?  Laparoscopy is to r/o tubal  blockage, adhesions, or endometriosis or for unexplained infertilty, the surgery should be last unless u have a specific indication to do it.

Maybe: Clomid (clomiphene)  is used but doesn't work as well with PCOS as with some other causes of infertility. Insulin resistance is common in PCOS and there are studies that show that treating it with drugs like metformin can help with infertility and decrease the risk of miscarriage which is also increased in PCOS. There are also recent studies showing benefit from drugs used for breast cancer and may work better

If you are not pregnant within 3-4 months then you will likely want to have a more full evaluation to see if there is another reason preventing you from pregnancy, but at a young age with irregular periods Clomid (clomiphene) is very effective.

No: Lab tests are just that. A diagnosis is made by a doctor after consideration of symptoms, labs , imaging etc. Wait to discuss it with your doctor.
