i used to eat tomatos all the time but the last couple months i eat pizza or stuff with tomatoes in it it makes me have cramps and poop am i allergic.?

Tomato cramps: Probably not. Tomato products are notorious for giving reflux symptoms.

ate pizza with tomato chunks in it last night. just had a bowel movement and red chunks in stool. stool is brown with slight hint of red. should i be worried?

: Probably not. Tomato skins do not get digested. You may wish to test your stool for blood/occult blood. You can get a kit from a drugstore for the test.

28yo male. can't tell if blood or sauce in stool? some dark red (sauce colored) spots on stool. ate a lot of pizza and stromboli this past weekend but also had pizza and tomatoes throughout the week. no red on toilet paper or in toilet bowl water.

Blood: Perhaps from a haemorrhoid although there may be other possibilities (fissure, diverticular disease etc).  Could be food as some will discolour the stool but medically it is safer to assume it is blood until proven otherwise.  Need to have an examination by a doctor licensed in your area to sort out whether you are bleeding and where from +/- may need tests to sort it out.

i'm allergic to tomatoes but usually can eat pizza/ketchup and such. 3 hrs ago i ate pizza and got tickly feeling in throat now it feels like a lump?

Go to ER if: YOu are having problem breathing or choking.  The reason why you could have tolerated ketchup or tomato sauce on pizza is likely due to alternation of the tomato allergen from cooking.  The current problem might have been from partially cooked or raw tomato.  It will be best for you to consult an allergist before ever touching tomato product again because the next reaction can be deadly.

Get tested: Before you give up on tomatoes, get an ige blood test to see if you are allergic.  Immunocap offers such a test.  You can get it at quest labs.  Maybe you are just having heartburn from the acid?

Possible: Even though allergic reaction to food (aside from swelling) does not usually last for more than a few hours, I recommend that tomato be avoided until cleared by an allergist. Do note that there are other ingredients in pizza aside from tomato.

the last 3 days for dinner i've eaten pasta with red sauce and also tomato soup twice for lunch, and today my poop seemed brown with parts that seemed orangish, is this normal? is it from the food? kinda concerned! is this anything bad?

: Your question needs more details to answer. Tomatoes can color the stool.

?blood on stool: I wouldn't blame ketchup but can't be sure about tomatoes. Hemorrhoids cause bright red blood. This doesn't sound serious, however your physician can do a simple test on your stool to check for blood if you still have concerns.

i ate about 12 oz home made ketchup consists of tomato paste in the last 24 hours. tonight my stool was significantly red but not blood, i hope/think?

Red stool: Shalom,given what you ate, there is no question that it is the tomatoes and NPOT blood. Beets can also do this to your stool.

Various colors: Make sure by doing a hemocult test. It depends where the blood originates, what the color is. if you are hemocult positive, you may need a colonoscopy. Hopefully it is just your diet. All the best
