Antibiotics: It is not clear what the cause of your loose stools is. Antibiotics are used when a bacterial infection has been diagnosed.  Often, antibiotics are not indicated.  An assessment would be needed to determine what, if any treatment is indicated.

: It depends on what underlying conditions and symptoms you have . If you are otherwise healthy with no respiratory distress or fever , it could be bronchitis and antiallergic meds and oral antibiotics are recommended. If you have fever or respiratory distress , you need to be tested for Covid and pneumonia in which case treatment is disease specific

Venomous spiders may cause  significant pain radiating far from the site, cramping, sweating, necrosis of tissue or worse if there is an allergic reaction. You may need antibiotics for signs of infection or significant ulceration.

Occasionally: The common cold can cause discolored mucus from the nose or even a cough with discolored mucus. Most of the common colds in otherwise healthy people resolve with no antibiotics and antibiotics should not be prescribed when symptoms of the common cold get worse after several days, with other symptoms such as headache, fever, earache, lung symptoms or if the health is not good , md visit is needed.

Cystitis: Cystitis is marked by urinary frequency and urgency, as well as lower abdominal cramping pain. Although cystoscope usually shows lesions on the bladder wall, there is no real evidence that cystitis is an infection. Under those circumstances, antibiotics may not be necessary and/or useful. However, antibiotics are often prescribed if there is a presumption of infection. Seek advice from a urologist.

my sinuses feel sort of dull and achy - does that mean i need antibiotics?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily: Taking nsaids like ibuprofen, advil, or Aleve (naproxen) can help.  Also sinus decongestants may help alleviate most sinus congestion-related symptoms.  Some allergies can make sinus congestion worse.
