Treat for BV: The tests you describe are not the way to diagnose bv. If it smells like it, just treat it.

infection?: Might have an infection or normal discharge which can occasionally cause an odor.  If concerned get checked.

Maybe: Bacterial vaginosis (due to gardnerella sp), candida (yeast) and trichomoniasis are all infections that can cause discharge and are readily detected on  pap exam.

had a annual pap smear on 07/14/15. results came back for all std's negative. my tubes have been tied for 2 years. my period blood sometimes has a rotten smell. what can be causing the rotten smell? i never smell my vagina smelling rotten only the period

Bacterial vaginosis: Very common around cycle to have a change in bacterial growth in the vagina with the "good" bacteria dying off to be replaced by "bad" bacteria which leads to a bad odor. It can persist after the cycle. It relates to changes in the vaginal acid/base status or pH.  Symptoms often onclude itching or burning.  It is not an STD. It is relatively easy to diagnose and  treat if confirmed.

See GYN: you might have a yeast infection,and you get reinfected by your husband who could be the carrier,since yeast could be completely asymptomatic in man.
try to treat both of you with anti yeast infection,and use condom for a while.
it could be something else,but the fishy smell fit yeast.
you can check with your GYN.

This is probably...: A yeast infection.  Typical symptoms are white 'cottage cheese' appearance to vaginal discharge.  It is nothing to be scared about.  Please see your physician for evaluation and treatment.

Pap smear unrelated: A pap smear screens for cancerous/pre-cancerous cells of the cervix.  It does not screen for vaginal or cervical infections or uterine/cervical/vaginal bleeding which can be the cause of a foul vaginal odor.  Your clinician should perform a vaginal exam, and possibly collect cultures and/or a wet mount to help determine the cause of your foul vaginal smell.

Yes: Bleeding after sex can occur for a variety of reasons from an inflammed friable cervix, to women with uterine bleeding issues and with pregnancy.

Not specifically: The pap is a simple test that  can detect changes triggered by HPV, one of the most common STI's but a blood test for antibodies is more specific. Some docs will test for sti's at the same time a pap is done, but may not have if s/he just did the pap.

Could be bacterial : vaginitis,  getting checked for this while seeing your doctor for pap testing, can get you on a best plan of treatment.
