Stress or BUG: You may be stressed over the incident and can not get the sound of a buzzing fly out of your head, or the fly could be in your ear canal?  I would expect you would be able to know the difference, but bugs in the ear canal are unfortunately common and may need to be removed by the Doctor.  Good luck.

my ear is blocked, feels swollen and i cant hear properly, there is a buzzing sound at times and today its a bit painful. its been going on for 3 days now.

Doctor can check: Medicines such as Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, or Aleve are used to help ear infection pains and inflammation. Usually, ear pain that is very bad, is not improving after 2 days, or that is persistent or recurrent, should be seen by a doctor. The doctor generally needs to examine the patient's head, neck, ears, nose, and throat to see if antibiotics are needed for treating an infection.

The movement of your blood cells through blood vessels in your ear makes sound.  It's actually surprising that more people don't experience this.  Most of us "tune it out" and don't notice it.  Why you do at certain times is a not dangerous mystery.  Luck!
