Bumps under arm: These bumps can be either a blocked up sweat gland in your armpit; these tend to be fairly small, around 1/4 inch. Certain deodorants can irritate the pores and cause them to block up. If there are multiple larger lumps, you may have a condition called "hydradenitis suppurative" where the glands get recurrently swollen, tender, and often actually drain pus. See an md. Treatment is controversial.

See your doctor: You should be examined by your doctor. You may have an infection that needs to be treated. The only way to do that properly is to be seen by a doctor.

Abcess: This could be an abcess.  This is a pus pocket under the skin.  This is frequently caused by a resistant form of staph aureus.  You should see you physician as soon as possible to evaluate this.

i get extremely painful bumps filled with pus and blood in my vagina hairs every couple of months. i have been compressing them with a warm wash cloth but i'm not exactly sure what that does. i also just recently found out i had a staph infection aka mrsa

There may be an: ...association between the MRSA and the recurrent infection in the vaginal hairs (folliculitis).  If you're being treated appropriately with the antibiotics for the MRSA, that might help clear up the folliculitis.  Be aware tho that any bacteria still hiding in the follicles may cause a flair up.  Talk with your doctor about that &amp; that other hygiene measures to help prevent recurrences.

Needs evaluation : Lumps, bumps, blisters and other skin abnormalities on the genitals need to be evaluated. An examination will be needed to know the cause and treatment.  Sounds like you may have hidradenitis superativa. Schedule a visit to confirm.

Pustules are a sign: of infection, likely Staphylococcus Aureus.  What concerns me is that your son has been manipulating the lesions, which is the best way I know for him to develop a more serious skin infection &amp;/or spread the germs to other parts of his body. I recommend warm soaks 4-5 times a day, have short, clean nails, HANDS OFF, see his doctor who may refer to dermatology if he has chronic acne.

Folliculitis?: This sounds most like folliculitis, i.e. infection starting in hair follicles. This is especially likely if you shave your pubic area and the bumps occur primarily in shaved areas. An antibiotic might help. Depending on exact location -- e.g. groin, not pubic area -- it could be a more serious condition called hidradenitis suppurativa. Best to see a doctor and take it from there. Good luck.

Folliculitis: It is possible you are suffering from "folliculitis" , which is a bacterial infection or inflammation of the hair follicles.  Regardless, you still may have an STD and be in need of antibiotics.

Soaks (may need doc): An infection that develops along the edge of the fingernail or toenail is called a paronychia. Care at home includes warm soaks in a mixture of 50% warm water and 50% liquid antibacterial soap three to four times daily for about 15 minutes. If redness starts to spread or pus still present, you need to see doc for proper incision and drainage.
