Fever and pimples: Please see a dermatologist or your primary care doctor immediately.  Skin conditions and fever could indicate a contagious disease including chicken pox, strep and staph infections, etc. Some can get quite serious depending on your condition and overall health.

Need more info: You previously described this as "smallpox".  Since you do not know the diagnosis, and what you are describing now does not even sound like chickenpox, very strongly suggest you have your baby seen by a doctor.  Hope they are better soon.

: Cat Scratch Fever can last for 2-4 months. Treatment is typically not needed. Try to avoid scratching at the rash. If the area under your breast is getting irritated, you can cover it with gauze. If the rash spreads or worries you, see your physician.

Roseola?: Roseola is a common childhood illness where young kids usually have 3 to 5 days of high fever, often over 104, which stops suddenly followed by a rash, sometimes with little red pimples that usually last for a day or two. The rash usually starts on the neck and trunk and spreads outwards to the arms and legs. It's usually not itchy. A little diarrhea with this is not unusual.

Need more info: Rashes and unusual feelings should be monitored closely. Without further history it's hard to determine risks. Have you been outdoors lately? Tick bite? New medications? I would encourage you to get an appointment with a medical professional for a full exam and history. Drink plenty of fluids and rest in the meantime.

? Bite: This sounds like a bite with a general body reaction. Get checked to get a firm diagnosis and  fluids and medications. Also get immunized for tetanus if you are out of date. All the best.

Teething: Red pimples are not consistent with teething. Please call Pediatrician for examination/evaluation.  Also, Standard of Care is that ALL children have 1st Dental Examination at eruption of 1st baby tooth, but not later than 1st b'day. Strongly recommend that you see a Children's Dental Specialist, a Pedodontist for all the same reasons you see a Children's Medical Specialist, a Pediatrician.

Unlikely: many viral infections trigger a rash as they end their transition through an illness. The rash of measles is not fine pimples, but flat reddened blotches that emerge first at the hairline &amp; progress down the body.

Probably not: The rash with HIV tends to be red and flat or a bit raised. People have other flu like symptoms as well. Pimples are probably just pimples. If lots more emerge on only one side of the body in a strip this could be shingles. If the same cluster always comes back in the same place, this could be an unusual location for herpes simplex.
