This usually means your body is not responding well to insulin, and may be diabetic or pre-diabetic. Losing weight can help this skin condition, and reduce your chances of developing diabetes, or at least postpone it.

It's time for a Dr.: Chest pain, with or without shortness of breath, can be due to minor problems or to very serious ones. An ER doctor can check to see what might be going on. Possible causes include angina or heart attack, partial pneumothorax (collapsed lung), asthma, pneumonia, stomach reflux, myocarditis, etc... One should not wait with such symptoms. One will also need her primary care doctor to follow-up care.

Psoriasis: He has psoriasis.  It sounds severe. There are medications to help. Please get him to a good dermatologist.

Muscle pain: Hi. There are muscles in this areas. Any unusual muscle activity? Workouts, yard work, etc, etc? Also could be muscle ache associated with a viral illness. Try some ibuprofen or naproxen (as long as you're OK taking this drugs). It shouldn't last too long. Get well soon!

Have you experienced a rash in that same area? You are describing the pain that one sees with shingles. The pain will follow the path of a nerve affected by the reactivation of the virus that causes Chicken Pox.

Rash after flu...: ...Raises the suspicion that it wasn't flu. Mono, scarlet fever, and roseola are some of the more common febrile illnesses that have rash as part of the picture.

i've had an allergic reaction (skin rash) to a dose increase of sertraline.  the rash is on my face, neck, chest, back and arms.  i took a full 25 mg dose 1x and woke up with a slight rash on my face.  took a 2nd 25 mg dose and the rash is now everywhere
