Not necessarily: Best way to find out would be to do a pregnancy test. Depot is 99% or so effective in pregnancy prevention.

Yes: You may burp, pass gas or hear gas rushing through your bowels.

Constipation: Fluid increase is essential. Fiber may help constipation but at the same time may increase your bloating, although, unless you try, you won't know how it will do in your case. Over-the-counter laxatives such as MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) or a stool softner, colace (docusate) may be tried.

Bloating: If your abdomen is actually distended and especially if painful and you're unable to have a bowel movement, intestinal obstruction or paralysis would be a concern. If you note no improvement, see your physician or go to the hospital emergency room where prompt evaluation is available.

Constipation: Unfortunately the anesthetic agents, the surgery and the post operative pain management all contribute to constipation. Which can cause multiple abdominal complaints, including bloating. Okay to increase your oral liquids, decrease the narcotics, use laxatives to achieve two soft bowel movements daily. Make your post operative appointment and discuss with your surgeon.

Increase fiber: Constipation and bloating can be caused by lack of fiber in the diet. Please decrease sugars and fats in diet, and increase foods with fiber, like beans and green leafy vegetables. Continue drinking lots of water.

Enema/ Doctor: The most successful way to combat severe constipation is enemas.  These may be repeated until bowels run clear.  No harm will come from repeated tapwater enemas.  Glycerine suppositories may help. Milk of Magnesia (magnesium hydroxide) by mouth may be tried.  Overall excercise, drinking plenty of water and eating ruffage should prevent constipation, but I suspect you may have a problem that needs a doctor visit.

Time to see doctor: "Severe pain" in the stomach can be something very serious, so a person with "severe pain" should see the doctor right away to find out what is causing the pain.  After finding the cause, a treatment can begin. Severe symptoms usually means calling 911 (or whatever the local emergency number is) for an ambulance to ride to the ER, because it is not safe to drive while having severe symptoms.

unless it persist for more than 36 hours you should not worry at all

Visit your doctor: Your symptoms could be either manifestation of functional bowel disease or it could organic mucosal disease. You should see your Gastroenterologist at the earliest. Probably you should not try to treat yourself at the moment. Thanks
