Get seen: You're having hypertensive encephalopathy until proven otherwise. You could just be under stress. There are a variety of other possibilities. Have your personal physician see you now

RHINITIS : It is better to treat the underlying cause. First step is to tighten up the home environment: dust mite barrier covers and pillows. HEPA FILTER remove carpet /get air ducts cleaned . Next nasal irrigation , I recommend NEILMED. If symptoms persist ZYRTEC/CLARITIN/ALLEGRA. In addition Flonase can be helpful . If symptoms persist allergy testing and immunotherapy may help .

Blood pressure: Most of the time, high blood pressure does not give any symptoms. Some people may feel some headache or dizziness. Some do get nose bleeds. May feel tired or just "not right". Should get checked to see what may be giving her the problem.

Head injury: Post head injury (was it a closed head trauma?  Any loss of conscience? Any other associated injury? Any history of high blood pressure or previous nose bleeds?) with minimal nose bleed is not something to freighten you.  To be concerned and watch for any other symptom to develop; e.g.: visual, cognitive, etc. Deficits would be recommended, though.

Epistaxis: Or nosebleed is generally a symptom caused by local abnormalities, involving one or both nostrils, general conditions such as coagulopathies or bleeding disorders or a combination of the above. Would recommend starting with your Family physician for an exam and possible further referral to an ENT if needed.

See a dentist: Blood in saliva can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, gum disease. Untreated gingivitis can lead to the tooth loss and other health problems. See your dentist ASAP because the sooner you treat it the better the outcome.

Get checked: You need to have a check up.  This could be nothing more than allergies and dry airways.  Nosebleeds are common with the dry air of winter.  However, you should be checked with a full exam with your physician.
