May be tendonitis: A person who gets a numbness, soreness, or tenderness (to pressing on it) where the muscles attach near the elbow may have tendonitis . . . But he will usually know what caused it. The cause is overuse of the arm during the past day or two. Icing the sore spot and taking some Motrin can help. He can wrap the sore area with an over-the-counter elastic band, which will spread the muscle's force out.

Bursitis: This can get complicated because there are many scenarios to consider - did you fall on it, etc.  In addition, it is also important where your pain or soreness is. 

If the elbow is sore in the back, then it is most likely a bursitis. If it is sore in the center then it may be arthritis. 

I would have an orthopedic surgeon evaluate the elbow.

Recommendation : With weeping wound or sore you need to clean it out first. Use benzoyl peroxide to wash out, then dry and put alcohol or iodine. Antibacterial ointment should help if you put it for night. If no improvement in few days go to the doctor for antibiotic.

Ulnar nerve: The ulnar nerve is very superficial on the inside prominence of the inner elbow. 'crazy bone'. This may b what u hit especially if you felt it into the little finger side of ur hand.

Sounds like: MEDIAL epicondylitis ("GOLFER'S ELBOW") Google it and if this description applies to you see your PCP (who may wish to refer you to an ORTHOPEDIST for a possible cortisone injection!!'

Tendinitis: It may be sign of inflammation in the tendons around the elbow joint. Repeated wrist and elbow movements may cause this. Commonly called tennis elbow. Try some anti inflammatory like Advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin and elbow bracing. If not better you may have to see your doctor.
