i have a scar on my eyebrow from a recent fall i cut it open and didn't go to the er why does it still hurt my browbone looks bigger too its been nine?

Scar tissue: Scar tissue forms around healing cuts.  If your cut healed by secondary intention and the scar is thicker than would be seen if it had been repaired, it may look bigger.  Scar tissue can cause pain from the replacement of normal tissues or sometimes can hurt because it pushes against a nerve.

my 8mo fell and hit her head today. since she has been very sleepy and now scratching her ear and eye excessively on the side she got hurt most. went to the er after the fall and was told nothing to worry about but i still feel uneasy. no vomiting?

See her doctor: Please see her doctor today. Although she was cleared by the ER, if she is still not herself, I would recommend another examination by her doctor or back at the ER. They may say she is fine, but it is best to be sure that there is no internal head injury.

im still having neck and head pain, while walking sometimes i bc dizzy and fall. i went to the er for the pain but they didnt have an mri machine help?

The ER: is geared toward diagnosing life threatening emergencies, and may not have every diagnostic test available. Chronic issues and less acute issues are actually better worked up by a family doctor. Consider seeing one ASAP to get a complete exam and maybe an MRI if they feel it is needed. Hope this helps!

i had a hit on my head when i was 6 that created a very small scar. i'm 30 now and recently found that the area of the scar is now a small bump, smaller than an apple seed. it's not painful but it looks like a black bump. should i be concerned??

Doctor can look: One's primary care doctor or a dermatologist can take a look. After scalp trauma, the injury may resolve and leave a bald spot. Sometimes skin glands and/or hair follicles get messed up and heal under the skin, meaning they got covered over... leading to a bump which is actually a small cyst full of stuff that could not get out. Of course, a coincidental mole could also grow at a scar spot.

so i've had my left eyelid with stye or chalazion after a few years of my birth. i visited doctors but it didn't help. the marks or scars are still there in my eye and it makes it look puffy and recently it has got many black spots too. please help?

: Black spots are not typical for a chalazion. You should have it evaluated soon by an ophthalmologist or an oculoplastic speacialist to make sure that it's nothing more serious. They can also advise you on how to improve the cosmetic appearance.

: Likely permanent damage to right supraorbital branch of trigeminal nerve.  Since solely sensory, should not affect vision or opening or closing eye

Go to the ER: If you have migraines, or need to be checked for trauma, or any type of brain problem a CT scan will be able to screen you for a diagnosis.  That will get you closer to relief of your pain.  Otherwise stress can cause these issues especially around your periods.
