GET CHECKED OUT!: This is concerning - you had second degree burns and now have complications of decreased range of motion, swelling and pain with weight bearing. While these may all just be results of the burn, it is also possible that there is a secondary infection, and if you ignore this at this point could turn into a disaster. Have it checked out today......

from the knees down my legs are swollen and hurt to walk. took a 6 hr car trip, both ways this wknd. how long will it take to get back to normal?

Depends ...: First have to know what's causing your legs to swell like that. The cause could be cardiac, liver, kidney. You need a good workup by a good internist who will get a thorough history, a complete physical exam, a laboratory exam, maybe an EKG and CXR and when all the data is in have a long heart-to-heart with you on what's been found and why and what can and should be done about it. No blinders!

Get diagnosed first: There are a number of things that can cause swelling in the legs & ankles. This is a very nonspecific symptom.  I recommend that someone with swelling in these areas should be seen by orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon for a definitive diagnosis so that appropriate treatment can be started.  You can find one in your area at www.Aofas.Org.

Unlikely: Leg swelling attributed to sunburn would not be expected to cause blood clots.  Common causes of blood clots include prolonged immobility (i.e. Long plan rides), major surgery, extremity injury, and conditions associated with increased tendency to form blood clots (i.e. Cancer).

woke up with my left hip swollen and sometimes a dull ache, to a burning sensation from the top of my hip down the back of my leg to almost my knee hurting.  it's difficult to walk on, i've taken advil and had a warm shower but nothing is relieving ?

Need more history?: Did you injure yourself?  You should go to see a doctor right awAy. Sounds like you may have an issue here. Get. He Jed our and give a good history of the issue as best you remember

Red legs: Many things can cause redness in the legs; infections, vascular conditions, blood clots to name a few.  I would recommend evaluation by your primary care physician.

Unsure: A tan can take a few months to fade, but the longer it stays, the longer unlikely from a  sun exposure, but will not fade if repeted sun exposure. As is onlyone knee, something is causing the skin to darken-whether sun or another irritant, but seems like an outside job, not from within.

TRY: sitting in a cool tub of water!.....amazing how helpful this can be.... 
Many over the counter analgesic sun-burn SPRAYS are available ( spray probably best for area that large)
