See your doctor.: Without the benefit of an exam it is impossible to say. Could be a pulled muscle, inflamed or pinched nerve, painful varicose vein or a more serious condition such as a blood clot. If worse with walking could be peripheral arterial disease involving a blocked artery. See your doctor asap!

i am anemic but worry that the additional symptoms are being overlooked; please guide me. i feel dull pain in my left shoulder daily; cramping in my left leg that only stops when i elevate my leg. my feet feel painful. i want to overcome this. how?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. Anemia in an adult male warrants an investigation in itself. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Ankle pain: Not enough info. Could be anything from gout to sprain or muscle tear. Needs exam and more info.

Discuss with your MD: All of these symptoms may be local musculo-skeletal problems but you need to talk to your doctor.  Cramps could be an electrolyte disorder.  One sided swelling could be venous insufficiency but it could be phlebitis.  The leg falling asleep is most likely a compression of a nerve while you are asleep.  However, you have a number of leg questions  that requires someone seeing you personally.

Many possibilities: The most common causes are poor blood flow to the limb and a nerve problem (either at the nerve root or along the course as it passes down the leg).  The distribution of the pain, as well as the factors that make it better or worse, can help to narrow down the possibilities and guide proper treatment.

See note: If your condition seems to be worsening then the cyst may be growing in size requiring surgical aspiration or draining.   There is nothing interconnected to your foot or leg and you should seek medical care by a neurologist neuro surgeon or orthopedic spine doctor.

Rheumatologist: More description of your leg discomfort is needed?hip,knee,calf,etc. The varied areas of discomfort may be more joint than muscle related and may be arthritic in nature. I recommend an evaluation by a rheumatologist for specific diagnosis and treatment. Appropriate tests will be done in order to make a diagnosis.

variable: Your symptoms do suggest a nerve stretch injury. To be sure get examined by an ors. Nerve 'stretch' injuries can improve w/in weeks but sometimes take months!

First off: Make sure your feet are getting enough support with shoes good shoes and inserts. See physician for evaluatuion and treatment if this persists.

Depends: Could be arthritis in joints or pinched in nerve from lumbar spine or other etiologies.  You want to see your doctor to evaluate further.
