hi, i have been experiencing pain in my right breast. i did develop sort of cysts on the outside. but now i find that my breast hurts every time i touch it.

If cysts : are in the breast tissue, this can cause pain.  If cystic breasts, be sure to follow with your doctor to be sure all proper care 
 is accomplished.

Pressure: Breast cysts are pockets of raw unformed milk caused by blockage in the drainage system of the breast (ducts).  Women make milk every day of their adult lives, regardless of menstrual periods.  If the milk making tissue creates milk that is blocked by scarring, dried calcified milk, benign or cancerous tumors, and cannot drain, a cyst develops.  Pressure causes pain.  Aspiration can relieve pain.

Accepted Answer

Yes: But unlikely.  There is a certain type of ovarian cyst that causes overproduction of estrogen and that could cause breast pain, though those cysts are unlikely.  It's more likely that the 2 are unrelated.  I don't see your age, so it's difficult to say why you're having breast pain, but most common is due to hormonal reasons, typically cyclical.  If you feel a mass, go to doctor right away.

it is now time for my mamogram, since i just had a ultrasound should i wait?

No: The mammogram provides a look at all of the breast tissue  and, unlike ultrasound, can help fine suspicious calcifications and areas of asymmetry. Important to get your annual mammogram.

Depends: Do you happen to know what type of cyst it was?  Some benign cystic lesions have a high recurrence rate on the same or opposite side, so more info is needed.  Ovarian cancer at your age is thankfully uncommon except in BRAC/BRCA gene carriers.

can an infected armpit cyst cause breast pain. im taking  clindamycin 150 mg 2 pills x aday. last dose is tonite. how long b4 the pain is gone?

Pain: This subjective phenomenon (pain) can be a result of persistent infection, pressure of an expanding lesion on surrounding tissues, irritation of a nerve root, or may be due to something else.  Would contact the doctor who treated you with Clindamycin and have them reexamine you.  You should be clearing up shortly, but if in substantial pain, go see them.

i've been ttc after a mc in june. ovarian cyst was discovered. im 2 days late mild cramps on the left side,slight breast pain &constipated. help?

Ovarian cyst ?: If your cycles are regular, and "two days late" is unusual, but the "mild cramps and breast pain" may just be an oncoming period. Obtain a serum HCG pregnancy test (accurate) if no period in the next few days.

i am having dizziness, weakness and breast pain and i have a corpus leutal  cyst on my left ovary. my expected period is next week. what should i do?

Multiple issues: Small ovarian cysts usually resolve on their own without treatment. Confirm the plan with your Obgyn. See your primary care doctor to evaluate your weakness an dizziness. Breast pain at your young age is typically from hormonal changes, dietary changes, weight changes and other causes. Have your Obgyn do an exam if it continues.

sebaceous cyst and breast pain. my doc said i may have caused nerve damage when i popped it myself 3 mounts ago. whats the likelihood that i did damag?

I won't worry much: About it. It could just be bruised or pinched nerve. U may take otc Motrin and apply warm packs to the involved area. Take care!
