See your PCP: There are many possible causes for a chest pain like lung problems, muscle pain, excessive smoking, and gastrointestinal problems. Regardless, chest pain with shoulder pains, is always a red flag and visit to a doctor and cardiologist is warranted. Take this opportunity to quit smoking. Life is beautiful!.

Muscle twitch: You are probably having twitches of your chest wall muscles.  Generally not a cause for concern but talk to your doctor about it.

Atypical: The pain you describe is atypical and usually not the heart. But depending on your history and your risk factors a work up may be indicated. A thorough h&p along with ecg, labs and and possibly a stress test would be helpful ruling out the heart and asses other potential causes.

Esophageal spasm: You may have food stuck in your esophagus, drink liquids to try to push it down, if no help, go to the emergency room.

Better safe / sorry: If you have chest discomfort which lasts for more than a few minutes and is concerning to you, you should seek immediate medical attention.  There are many causes of chest pain and some are not serious but others can be fatal so please get checked out right away.

Poor training: Sudden burst of exercise cause muscular ischemia which will show as spasm or pain. I t is not a disease. you must train yourself gradually. For every 15 min you walk you can run 1 min next day. you can go as high as you want. there will be no pain. I am a marathon runner. if you do not exercise for 2 weeks, you have to start from the beginning. remember gradual increments.

Palpitations: mostly likely just a increase in your heartrate, make sure u r not anemic thyroid is ok , if persistent get a ekg and a echocardiogram
