Doesn't sound health: Expresso has a fair amount of caffeine in it which acts amongst other things as a heart stimulant.  If you take enough of it it can cause your heart to beat rather rapidly and even cause arrhythmias.  It is also a diuretic and can cause you to urinate a lot. It can cause sleep disturbances and muscle tremors.  You may not suffer from any of these side effects but there are risks to every course of

Thyroid problem???: If you feel a "rush" most of the time, with rapid heart beat and warmth, it is worth while to ask your healthcare provider to check your thyroid function.

Possible connection: as caffeine is a diuretic which causes urination and subsequent dehydration. Also, withdrawl symptoms include tiredness. Best of luck!

Coffee is ok: Having a daily espresso is fine for most.   Watch out for afternoon intake as it can worsen your sleep,  both ability to fall asleep and its quality.   If you have headaches, then going caffeine free is the best way to minimize headaches! This is a notable exception.

Avoid: If you are taking famotidine, you likely have gastritis or GERD.  Caffeine can increase the risk of reflux and gastritis.  So it is best to minimize caffeine as much as possible.

Stimulants: I understand your need to have daily stimulants.
It is ok to drink espresso coffee in summers-have cold coffee.
Assam Teas are good stimulants.
Walking or hiking in any Hill station in Himalaya can be exhilarating.
Consider being stimulated by your hobbies about which you are passionate.

i have been drinking green tea for more than 15 yrs now &i drink between 3 to 7 cups per day in addition to coffee whether espresso/nescafe/turkish coffee. recently my haemoglobin &ferritin level dropped &i'm taking meds now. should i stop green tea?

GI tract: Acid reflux and loss of blood from the GI tract may be one possible cause. Please ask your physician about a trial of anti reflux medications and stool heme test.
